Play in Group C of the 2010 FIFA World Cup will take place on 12–23 June 2010.[1] The group consists of England, the United States, Algeria, and Slovenia. Only England and the United States have previously met in a World Cup, the 1950 FIFA World Cup, when the United States defeated England 1–0.
The winners of this group will advance to face the runners-up in Group D. The runners-up of this group will face the winners of Group D.
